In Mulieribus

Sisters is partnering with local vocal ensemble In Mulieribus (Greek for “amongst women”) for their 2009-2010 season. Part of the proceeds from their concerts will benefit Sisters Of The Road! Their next concert will be held Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at 2pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1716 NW Davis in Portland. Tickets are $20 for Premium seating, $15 Regular seating and $12 Students/Seniors. Information on buying tickets can be found at In Mulieribus’ website.

In Mulieribus is dedicated to the promotion and enrichment of community through the art of music with a focus on works written primarily before 1750. It accomplishes this mission through live, historically informed, professional performances; through sound recording projects; and through relationships and donations made to local not-for-profit organizations that support women in need.

Michael Jackson Tribute to Benefit Sisters - Coming May 7th

Details are still in the works, but we do know that the show is scheduled for Friday, May 7th at 9pm at the Someday Lounge - and it’s going to be amazing.  Slated to open is Leapin’ Louie Lichtenstein - “the most explosive Lithuanian Jewish Cowboy Juggling Comedian to ever come out of Oregon!” Then the music will go all night!

Keep checking back here for more details!
